On-Site Consultation
Start your garden journey with an on-site consultation with our certified permaculture designer. During this consultation, we will provide professional guidance to help you design your site and begin creating a plan for your project. Afterwards, we will develop a comprehensive site plan for you that includes a summary of the consultation, a plant list, an implementation plan organized by season, and resource guides to assist with the project.
Although this consultation is best suited for suburban, urban, or small rural properties, we can also provide comprehensive designs and site plans for larger and more complex sites.
Garden Design
Following your on-site consultation, we will create detailed renderings and plant-placement guides for the areas you have chosen to have designed. These renderings and guides will be included in your site plan. Our designs are intended to work with native elements and foster healthy wildlife. They will typically include a bird feeding area and water feature.
Raised Beds
Our custom-made raised beds are handcrafted using cypress from local mills. Cypress naturally resists rot, so these beds last for years and won’t leach chemicals into the soil. In addition to creating custom raised beds for your site, we can also assist with installation and planting. Clients have the option to simply purchase beds or have them filled and completed with organic plant starts. We also can provide season-specific seed recommendations.
Installation
In addition to raised garden beds, we can also personally install any or all other aspects of your garden and permaculture system. Depending on the size and scope of your project, we may also collaborate with like-minded local nurseries and/or installation companies in order to help complete the project.
Maintenance
In order to help your garden and permaculture systems thrive, we offer regular maintenance services, which include checkups, pruning, mulching, soil amendments, and probiotic applications.
Field Trips & Classes
Field Trips and Classes: As educators, we are passionate about the transmission of knowledge, particularly when it comes to sustainable gardening and permaculture, and we are eager to share what we’ve learned with our community. As such, we endeavor to make every project we work on an educational experience for our clients. In addition to providing material for further study in our detailed site plans, we also offer courses, guided hikes, and field trips for anyone who might be interested. These events are open to the community, and information is shared about them through our social media pages. We are also available to serve as guest speakers for events or to host custom classes for small groups. If that’s something you are interested in, please contact us!
