Chris Leibner

Chris’s passion for studying and working with native flora and fauna began as a child in Lake County, where his exploration of our local lakes and forests ultimately led him to pursue degrees in biological and health sciences. He brings this unique combination of practical and scholarly expertise to every garden he designs. He also loves to cook, and is particularly fond of growing food he can experiment with in the kitchen. As a result, his designs often feature a wide array of edible plants. In his free time, he also enjoys hiking, kayaking, and playing the guitar.

Christie Leibner

A native Floridian, Christie’s love of nature came later in life, but she has spent more than a decade studying it. Her current research is focused on the impact of native gardens on birds and ways to grow your own medicinal herbs. Like Chris, she is an educator with a passion for life-long learning. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, baking, and walking her dogs with her husband, Chris.
